Sanjeevaiah Park, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Over 120 species resident and migratory birds can be found in Sanjeevaiah Park. Also you can find more than 20 species of butterflies and 20 species of insects in the park.
Among the common birds, you can see spot bills, common coot, purple herons, cranes, cattle egret, Ashy Prinia, golden oriole and jacanas. The Pied Crested Cuckoo, which is considered to be a harbinger of the monsoons, due to the timing of its arrival, can be spotted at this park. The local birdwatchers predict rains 15 to 18 days after spotting this bird.
