The Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary (IGWLS), earlier known as Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, is nearly a thousand square kilometers of undisturbed wildlife in the state of Tamil Nadu in south India.
The sprawling acres of Indira Gandhi National Park, which is 108 sq. kms, is a part of the wildlife sanctuary and at an elevation of over 2500 mts above sea level.
